The design is our reworking of images from 19th Century illustrations of Furniture and Tasteful Objects (Meuble et Objets de Goût), and shows two teapots with ebony handles, and four decanters on a silver tray. The black of the tray highlights the beauty of the illustrations. The tray colour is black , with a white edge, and the tray has a multi-coat lacquer finish.
